    Hannah Hale is an actress from New Jersey, by way of Queens. Bridge n' tunnel, baby. Yes, she is of Italian-american descent, and yes, she loves Bruce Springsteen. She is currently based in NYC. 

   Ms. Hale's recent work includes: Ardor, by Matthew Gasda, at BCTR. She leads the upcoming indie feature I WANT TO WATCH, directed by Cody Kostro, to be released in 2026.  


    Additionally, for her experience in NYC stripping and night life, Hannah was asked to be creative consultant on the Academy Award winning cult-hit film, ANORA, directed by Sean Baker. She is currently developing a solo show about her own experiences as an actress/stripper/nanny in Manhattan.

    Hannah has also taken part in several staged readings and workshops, including: The Gingerbread Lady with Jessica Hecht and Wilma (Abby Rosebrock) at Manhattan Theatre Club, and Acting School (Kathleen Tolan) at Ensemble Studio Theater. She starred in the two-hander play Less Than 50%, written by comedian Gianmarco Soresi. She received her BFA in acting from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University. She is a company member of ADULT FILM, a Brooklyn-based indie theater group. 

    Most recently in February 2026, Hannah played the 68 year-old, critically acclaimed director and reclusive auteur Michael Cimino - director of THE DEERHUNTER - in CIMINO'S DEFEAT, a new play by Eric Faris. The play was produced by ADULT FILM, at Torn Page in Manhattan. 

Up next, directing/producing/starring in THE MAIDS, by Jean Genet, at ADULT FILM, fall 2026.
